Vista Del Lago Resort

Best place for the money I've stayed in for a good, long while. Bob and his staff are amazing, kind, and good people. The cottage was clean, and the lakefront patio area had its own pier, boat launch, high tower, fire pit and wood fire oven. Excellent!

The owners are amazing people and very kind and helpful. They are very accommodating and understanding. Cottage’s are nice and roomy and have the fridge and microwave etc.

The house at Vista Del Lago along with the yard and everything in the yard is the best feature about the resort. The property includes two hot tubs, one that is accessible in the yard of the house. The other is accessible from unit #2. Our room is a two bedroom with a kitchenette. This is our second year here and our second year in unit 7. For most people this unit may be less than what you expect. It isn't dirty where it counts, beds and bathroom. It is a bit dated although it does have newer furniture from last year. I do like fine establishments (Hilton, Crowne Plaza, Marriott, etc.) and taking this for what it is, I'll come back here and enjoy myself. If you want comfort and absolutely updated and clean, keep searching. If you are good with clean where it counts (read not updated / not renovated) rooms, check this place out. Beware of you or anyone in your group is picky, check elsewhere.

We came here for our honeymoon and the hostess was very accommodating. We told them we were on our honeymoon and they upgraded us and left snacks and drinks in our room along with a congratulatory card. I let them know I was pregnant so instead of a bottle of champagne they left sparkling cider with two wine glasses in a bucket of ice and filled our private hot tub with lukewarm water instead of hot which was very thoughtful. Great lake views and recreational area with badminton, fire pits, a pier, and romantic lighting. We had our two dogs with us which they were fine with and there was a nice grassy area for them to run around. Would stay here again; was a great deal for the price.

Awesome place to stay, and you definitely get your money's worth. I rented the hot tub room for $109 a night. Wonderful management team. And very clean and tidy. Only reason I didn't give it a 5, was because of the lake smelling so horrible. If the place was anywhere else I'd have given it a 5+5 rating.

Great cabins, everything you need to cook, right on the lake, beautiful cabins. Lots of room to spread out. Bob, the owner is thoughtful,is sure to provide you safe, conscientious, clean, and affordable lodging. Nothing but good things to say. If you need lodging in lake county, try Vista del Lago, and forgot about the usual hotels. You'll be glad you did.

It's a great place to stay!!! Always nice calm atmosphere. Bobs great rooms are nice,quite and cozy. I'd recommend this spot to everyone... Thanks Again Bob Hope to see you again sometime soon =D =D

From the moment we arrived, the manager made us feel at home. The cottage was fantastic! Yes it was old school but artistically decorated. Very clean. The kitchenette had everything! But that's only the beginning. Their yard in the back was a touch of HAWAII! BBQ, Hot tub, A tiki house, hammock, so much to do. The owner was there and was wonderful. They even provided pizza for the guests! My family enjoyed themselves. We stayed an extra night just because. Thanks so much!! This is a diamond of a place.
